Facilities and Services
In the Dept. of Biochemistry
The Dept. of Biochemistry operates the London Regional Proteomics Centre, an open-access facility available to researchers at Western and beyond. This Centre comprises six modern facilities as follows:
- Functional Proteomics Facility
- MALDI Mass Spectrometry Facility
- Biological Mass Spectrometry Laboratory
- Biomolecular Interactions and Conformations Facility
- Biomolecular NMR Facility
- Macromolecular Crystallography Facility
Additional facilities and services include:
- Peptide Synthesis Facility
- Oligonucleotide Synthesis Service (on-campus investigators only)
- Microbiota Profiling Service (Dr. Greg Gloor)
- Automated Splice Site Analysis Server (Dr. Peter Rogan)
- Outreach Science Ontario Biotechnology Kits
