Congrats to successful CIHR applicants, Drs. Davey and Huff.

Publications this month are from the labs and collaborators of Dr. Peter Ainsworth (ovarian cancer and BRCA1/2 mutation carriers), Dr. Bonnie Deroo (ECM in estrogen receptor beta-null ovary), Dr. Fred Dick (chromosome instability and deregulated proliferation - a review) (analysis of cell cycle position), Dr. Gabe DiMattia (BMP signalling in epithelial ovarian cancer spheroids), Dr. Rob Hegele (gene mutations in severe hypertriglyceridemia) (mutated GPD1 phenotype), Dr. Lars Konermann (conformational dynamics of a membrane transport protein) (CFTR folding), Dr. Shawn Li (phosphotyrosine signalling network and cancer), Dr. Mellissa Mann (embryonic genomic imprinting), and Dr. Eva Turley (RHAMM and CD44 peptides - a review).

The Research Showcase for Biochemistry Students took place on 20 Jan at Huron University College. The Showcase featured the i) Harold B. Stewart lecture by Dr. Michael Surette and ii) posters from our Biochemistry students.
